Our infant, wobbler, and toddler program provides and safe, caring and nurturing environment for children three months to three years. Our teacher to child ratio is 1:4 for our infant and wobbler classrooms, and 1:5 for our toddler classroom. Our teachers have had many years of experience, ongoing child development classes, and are first aid/CPR certified.
Infants remain in the infant room until they are a year to approximately 14 months old. In this room, care is on demand. Feeding, sleeping schedules, etc. are determined by each infant. There is interaction including music and movement, story time and play. Older more independent infants (walking, feeding themselves, etc.) will be spending more time interacting with wobblers and toddlers in the gym and outdoor time and occasionally visiting the wobbler classroom. This makes the transition from one classroom to the other easy for each child.
Once in the wobbler and toddler rooms, there is a daily schedule that includes snack and meal times, nap time, gym and outdoor times, group time, story time, art projects, sensory activities, and plenty of free time to explore and play. Play is the work of young children.
Our curriculum is designed to allow children to learn at their own pace and in the ways that are best for them. We are always striving to achieve goals in each child's social/emotional growth, as well as their cognitive and physical growth.
